Cornett Automotive Inc. started in business in 1985 at the Amoco station at 22nd and Frederick Ave. In 1990, we relocated to 1225 N 4th, where we widened our services to major mechanical repairs and tow services. In January 2000, we moved into our new building across the street at 1225 N 4th in order to provide increased and improved services for our customers. We Keep Your Motor Running!

Cornett Automotive will be closing permanently as of July 31, 2026. We will be here at the posted times through August to take care of any re-inspections that need to be done.

The Cornett family is deeply grateful to all of our loyal customers and for proudly serving the St. Joseph community for the past 40 years.

While this has been a difficult decision, I am looking forward to easing into retirement and spending time with my family.
